ST 52/62 is a flatbed tow truck primarily intended for light flatbed and barbecue towing as well as quick and smooth transport. It is built entirely according to our strict Scandinavian requirements. The customer category for this construction is those who are primarily in need of a somewhat smaller construction and where economy, flexibility and speed are characteristics. In this tow truck, we have combined the characteristics of the "light flatbed tow truck" and the flexible vehicle transporter.

CHASSIS

A suitable chassis should have a total weight of 12-16 tonnes. Wheel base should be a minimum of 4.4 m. Air suspension and low-profile tires for a better load angle. PTO for direct mounted pump. Gear ratio 1:1. The chassis must be equipped with underrun protection.

FLAKE

The ribbed flatbed construction is slightly angled at the back (spoiler pocket) for a minimal entry angle. The flatbed has a straight edge profile, the flatbed surface is anti-slip treated (applies to steel flatbeds) and made of high-strength steel. The bed can be hydraulically removed and pushed to facilitate loading and unloading of vehicles. Flat drainage and undercoat treatment are included.

HELP AND TIPPING FRAME

Helper barge and tipper barge are made of VKR profile in high-strength steel, which is hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance. The superstructure is mounted on the chassis according to the truck manufacturer's instructions.

LIFT UNIT

The lifting unit is made of high-strength steel that is hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance. It has a single push-out with a reach of 1.3 m. Lifting capacity in the outer position is 2,500 kg. It is operated hydraulically from the control cabinet. Integrated passenger car halves and 50 mm bullet included.

STORAGE SPACE

The standard includes a tool cabinet in reinforced composite (1.0 x 0.4 x 0.46 m) on the left side.

WINDSCREEN

Flat winch

A flatbed winch of planetary gear type with a pulling force of 3.6 tons is mounted on the flatbed. Break rollers near the lint drum. The line drum is pneumatically disengageable. The diameter of the rope is 10 mm and the length 24 m. On the winch there is a 50 mm "caravan ball" mounted.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

All electrical cables are protected against external damage according to protection standards. This means that the electrical cables are provided with a protective cover similar to the chassis manufacturers' design. The electrical system is connected via fuses and relays which are located in the right cabinet. Two side marker lights on each side and electric emergency stop.
