CHASSIS
Suitable chassis is a forward-built truck with three or four axles, wheelbase of between 5.1 - 5.3 m. For 3-axle chassis, a minimum axle capacity of 8 tonnes or preferably 9 tonnes is recommended. For 4-axle chassis, a minimum axle capacity of 2 x 7 tonnes is recommended. The capacity of the rear axles must in both cases be at least 2 x 13 tonnes. The chassis must be equipped with a power take-off with a pump mounted directly on the engine. Power take-off can also be mounted on a gearbox and in both cases must have a gear ratio of approximately 1.1 – 1.2.
SALVAGE AGGREGATE
- BB 9010
- The unit, made of high-strength steel (Re 640-700 mm²), is fully hydraulic and consists of:
- an auxiliary frame
- two support legs
- a lifting boom with two double-acting telescopic cylinders (three stages)
- a folding boom with tilt function
- a telescopic recovery arm 2 x 750 mm for 3-axle)
- a telescopic recovery arm 2 x 1100mm for 4-axle

- The salvage assembly with included parts is sandblasted, primed black (Ral 9005) and finished varnished for maximum rust protection. Hard-to-reach lubrication points are moved to a more service-friendly location. The projecting parts are chromated.

- After painting the unit, the parts are reassembled on the chassis.
HELPFRAME
The recovery unit is mounted on an auxiliary frame of square profile. The superstructure is mounted on the chassis according to the truck manufacturer's instructions.
SUPPORTS
The support legs are made of extra high-strength material with wide toothed plates for optimal resistance properties. Integrated foldable ground protection plates are included. The support legs are operated separately, hydraulically.
LIFT BOOM
The lifting boom is stored in bushings made of compressed bronze material, which provides a long service life. The winch line runs through the lifting boom in a pivoting guide with a large line sheave. The lifting boom is actuated by two double-acting telescopic cylinders (three stages).
FOLDING BOOM WITH TILT FUNCTION
The folding boom is stored at the rear of the lifting boom and is set in the desired working position or transport position with a powerful hydraulic cylinder (tilt). The tilt function makes it possible to set the folding boom in a horizontal position up to approx. 1.2 m working height. This means that there are no unnecessary stresses in either the unit or the salvaged object. The tilt function makes the unit even better for salvaging e.g. buses as you can keep the folding boom in a horizontal position until you have reached the correct working position. In horizontal position, the tilt function has the same capacity as the unit's lifting boom
SALVAGE ARM
- BB 9017
- In the folding boom there is a telescoping recovery arm mounted (2x750mm) which is operated with three parallel-mounted hydraulic cylinders. This provides an extremely smooth and safe movement. The recovery arm can be locked with pneumatic locks in eight different positions. At the far end of the recovery arm there is an axially mounted lifting yoke mounted.

- For 4-axle chassis, recovery arm 2 x 1100 mm applies, which is operated with three parallel-mounted hydraulic cylinders. This provides an extremely smooth and safe movement. The recovery arm can be locked with pneumatic locks in ten different positions. At the far end of the recovery arm there is an axially mounted lifting yoke mounted.
STORAGE SPACE
- BB 9034
- The cabinets are made of 3 mm sheet metal and have at least eight separate compartments, four of which have large doors. The cabinet sides are designed taking into account the customer's wishes, maximum load capacity, chassis design, external appearance and the legal requirements that apply. The cabinets have interior lighting and are furnished with our flex system for the standard tools included in the construction. The flex system makes it very easy to relocate the tools and to expand with more suspension devices for tools without welding. The doors are made of stainless steel, rubber-sealed and internally fitted with red reflectors. The hinges are made of stainless material and equipped with grease nipples.

- The cupboards are lockable with strong rod-locks on the tall doors.

- The smaller doors have stainless steel flap locks. All locks are fitted with key covers.

- In order to obtain maximum cabinet space, it is sometimes necessary to move fuel tanks and air tanks from the chassis frame onto the subframe or to another suitable location. Depending on chassis type, tank locations, construction type, etc. we recommend the best option.dd>
WINCH
- BB 9037
- Standard winch is Sepsons H300G, specification as below:
- Gear winch.
- Pneumatically operated release of the tape drum.
- Hydraulic spring pressure brake stops the line in any position, even at full load.
- The winch has automatic speed control. Nerve replacement when the pulling force exceeds approx. 3 tons.
- Control from the rear control unit.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MPC

- The entire building's electrical system is separate from the chassis. All electrical wiring is protected against external influences according to protection standard IP50 (DIN 40050) and IEC144. The MPC central (multi-point-control) is located in a cabinet opposite the hydraulic valve cabinet at the back of the car. The system is connected via fuses and relays with diode control. Where the construction requires maneuvering from the cab, all control buttons in the cab are original to the chassis manufacturer. The unit is equipped with an hour counter that indicates the time of use of the unit. Release contacts only work with the PTO engaged. Two built-in side marker lights on each side and two position lights. Brake and tail lights, blinkers in the rear part of the building. Original rear lighting is mounted on the back of the cabinets.
