Bro Bärgningsbyggen AB has developed a new model called BB63. It is developed, designed and built by us at Bro in Kristinehamn and with the BB55 as a starting point for quality and construction. BB63 is adapted for Scandinavian climate and working methods, where high quality and long service life are the focus.
We have chosen the BB55 as a starting point for the BB63 as over the years it has proven to be one of, if not the flatbed carrier with the highest quality, highest reliability and longevity on the market. Customers with high demands choose Bro, not because of the low price, but because Bro is the most economical option.

Bro BB 63 is a flatbed tow truck primarily intended for light flatbed and barbecue towing as well as quick and smooth transport. It is built entirely according to our Bro's own construction with strict Scandinavian requirements for quality and longevity, like the rest of the model range. The customer category for this construction is those who are primarily in need of a slightly smaller construction and where economy, flexibility and speed are characteristics. In this tow truck, we have combined the characteristics of the "light flatbed tow truck" and the flexible vehicle transporter.
CHASSIS
A suitable chassis should have a total weight of 12-14 tonnes. Wheel base should be 4.7 m. Air suspension and low-profile tires for a better load angle. PTO for direct mounted pump. Gear ratio 1:1. The chassis must be equipped with underrun protection.
FLAKES
The ribbed flatbed construction is slightly angled at the rear (spoiler pocket) for minimum entry angle as standard. The deck has a straight Bro design edge profile, the deck surface is anti-slip and made of high-strength steel (Domex). The bed can be hydraulically removed and pushed to facilitate loading and unloading of vehicles. The deck is under-protected. Corresponds to the BroBB55 flatbed in construction and quality.

STEM
The front stem is of a high model and made of steel. The front trunk is painted in the same color as the cabin.
AUXILIARY FRAME AND TIPPING FRAME
Help frame and tilt frame are made of VKR profile in high-strength steel, which is primed and painted in RAL9005 (black) for corrosion resistance. Front stop for tilting frame is mounted.
The superstructure is mounted on the chassis according to the truck manufacturer's instructions.
LIFTING UNIT
The lifting unit is made of high strength steel which is primed and painted in RAL9005 (black) for corrosion resistance. It has simple extension with a reach of 1.3 m. Lifting capacity in the outer position is
3,000 kg. It is operated hydraulically from the control cabinet and with a remote radio. Integrated car halves and 50 mm bullet included. The grill halves are reversible.
STORAGE SPACE
The standard includes two (2) stainless steel tool cabinets (1.0 x 0.4 x 0.46 m) and two (2) smaller cabinets behind the last axle. The sides are covered with stainless plates, see layout under BB43.
WINCH
A flatbed winch from Sepson with a pulling force of 3.8 tons is mounted on the flatbed. Break rollers near the lint drum. The line drum is pneumatically disengageable. The diameter of the rope is 10 mm and the length 24 m. The flat winch is with lateral displacement. A 50 mm "caravan ball" is mounted on the winch. A frame winch from Sepson with a pulling power of 3.8 tonnes is mounted on the unit at the rear.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
All electrical cables are protected against external damage according to protection standards. This means that the electrical cables are provided with a protective cover similar to the chassis manufacturers' design. The electrical system is connected via fuses and relays which are located in the right cabinet. Two side marker lights on each side and electric emergency stop.

Fast and flexible
The BB63 is a completely new design, with a 6-tonne flatbed and, for the first time in our history, a 3-tonne telescopic recovery arm underneath. The BB63 is aimed at customers who choose a fast and flexible flatbed tow truck for inner-city traffic but who at the same time do not want to sacrifice towing capabilities. With its double winches, strong construction and telescopic outriggers, the BB63 has exactly what many other manufacturers in this size class have lacked, namely versatility.
